Facebookers Beware: Is the Text you Decided Not to Post Being Collected?
Users May Want to be More Cautious About What They Enter Into Status Updates or Comments Prior to Posting.
In a recent article posted by Ben Rossi on Information-Age, a technology consultant based in Ireland claims Facebook collects all content that is typed into its website, even if it’s not posted. After being approached by Information Age, Facebook has denied the allegation. However, the technology consultant claims this is not the case after he inspected Facebook’s network traffic through a developer tool and screencasting software. Users may want to be more cautious about what they enter into status updates or comments prior to posting.
